Seeing is believing.

BNSF Code of Conduct

To Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF), its Code of Conduct is a critically important document that communicates the policies and standards under which all BNSF employees are expected to operate. So getting all 4,000+ employees to understand and follow the standards set forth in this document is an important training priority.

Traditionally, the Code of Conduct was published as a 45-page manual of text and each year BNSF faced the arduous task of getting all employees to read the newest version of the code. BNSF tasked us with invigorating this training activity by developing a more creative, engaging and interactive experience for its employees. We used flash technology to develop a presentation that combines user-driven interactivity with creative visuals, interesting navigation, beautiful photography and pages that pop - all to make the learning experience more interesting to the employee. A powerful remote administration tool will also make updating a breeze. The BNSF team will be able to add, edit and delete content in real time. No longer will BNSF have to wait to make small or large changes to the text or add new quiz questions.

The Code of Conduct is now a usable, accessible, attractive and updatable training tool for BNSF. And most importantly, the company has found it has been much easier to get their 4000+ employees to certify.
